Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026
Anzen Safety and Training ("Anzen", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information when you use our websites, enquire about or book our services, or attend our training. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
This policy applies to anzen.com.au, anzenfirstaid.com.au, our online learning platform and our online booking system.
Nationally recognised training is delivered by Anzen on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909). Allens Training also handles some of your information as the registered training organisation, under its own privacy policy.
What information we collect
We only collect the information we need. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:
Contact details, such as your name, email address, phone number and employer
Training information, such as your date of birth, Unique Student Identifier (USI), enrolment, attendance, assessment and certificate records
Booking and payment details, such as invoices and payment records (card details are processed by secure payment providers and not stored by us)
Workplace information you provide when engaging us for consulting, such as staff lists, safety documents and incident records
Photos and videos taken during training, where you have agreed to this
Website information, such as pages viewed, links clicked, device and browser type and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies
How we collect it
We collect most information directly from you, for example when you complete an enquiry or booking form, use our website chat assistant, enrol in a course, call or email us, or attend training. Sometimes we receive it from your employer when they book training for their team. Website information is collected automatically when you visit our websites (see "Cookies, analytics and advertising" below).
How we use your information
We use your information to:
Respond to your enquiries and provide quotes
Book, deliver and assess your training, and issue certificates
Send booking confirmations, course reminders and renewal reminders
Deliver consulting and safety system services to your workplace
Process invoices and payments
Improve our websites and services
Measure our advertising and show our ads to people likely to be interested in our services
Meet our legal and regulatory obligations
Marketing
We will only send you marketing emails, such as news about upcoming courses or safety updates, if you have agreed to receive them or would reasonably expect them as an existing client. Every marketing email includes an easy way to unsubscribe, and we action unsubscribe requests promptly. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our websites use cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored by your browser that help our websites work and tell us how they are used. We use:
Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our websites. We see this as combined statistics, not individual profiles.
Google Ads, to measure whether people who click our Google ads go on to enquire, call or book.
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), to measure our Facebook and Instagram advertising and show our ads to people who have visited our websites.
A website chat assistant, provided by a third party, to answer common questions. Information you type into the chat may be stored by the provider.
Where you enter details such as your email address or phone number into a form on our websites, the Meta Pixel may send a scrambled (hashed) version of those details to Meta to help match website activity to Facebook and Instagram accounts. The details are scrambled in your browser before they are sent.
Your choices. You can limit or opt out of this tracking at any time by:
Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings (some website features may not work as expected)
Managing how Google uses your information for ads in My Ad Center
Installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
Changing your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, including whether Meta uses activity from other websites to show you ads
Google and Meta handle information under their own privacy policies.
Who we share your information with
We only share your personal information:
With Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909), our registered training organisation partner, for enrolment, assessment and certification of nationally recognised training
With government bodies where required for nationally recognised training, such as the USI Registrar and training regulators
With your employer, where they have booked or paid for your training (for example, to confirm attendance and completion)
With service providers who help us run our business, such as website, booking, online learning, accounting, payment and document storage providers. They may only use your information to provide services to us
With Google and Meta, through our website analytics and advertising tools, as described above
Where required or authorised by law, or with your consent
Overseas storage
Some of our service providers, including Google and Meta, may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. We use established providers with recognised security practices and take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we protect your information
We store information in secure, access controlled systems that only authorised Anzen team members can use. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy and to meet our legal and regulatory requirements, then securely delete or de-identify it. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and respond fairly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
